Zurich Real-Time Services & Download Solutions

In an effort to maximize agency workflow productivity and profitable growth, Zurich has developed a transformational agency interface strategy. We strive to make it faster and easier for our agents to do business with us. We are delivering on this strategy by building and implementing real-time service capabilities directly accessible by the agency management systems and other agency processing systems used by our independent agents when processing and managing their business. We continue to improve and enhance our Download capabilities to all major agency management systems.

We are partnering with the major agency management system vendors and interface platforms to design and implement real-time inquiry transactions and new business transactions so agents can work directly from their agency management systems and processing systems.

We have stepped up our involvement in industry user groups, working groups, agent associations/councils, standards organizations, and committees. This involvement allows Zurich to contribute to industry solutions that maximize ease-of-doing-business for our agents. It also gives us the opportunity to integrate those solutions into our technology and processes.

We are committed to continue our full support of commercial download to all major agency management systems for all eZSB products.

Data Download is one of the most efficient and effective tools agencies can use within their office. It not only saves time and money, but helps ensure carrier data and agency data are in sync. The process is easy and simple. At Zurich, we offer agents download of policy data (our policies are downloaded as Package policies, not Business Owner's Policies or BOP), Workers Compensation policies, and Direct Bill Commission Statements for most agency management systems. Transactions we support include new business, endorsements, renewals, cancellations, reinstatements, and rewrites.


Currently, we interface to and are certified with the following agency management systems. Zurich supports commercial lines for the listed agency management systems, and we continually review other vendors and may add more systems in the future. We continue to enhance and improve our Download capabilities and stay current with industry standards.

Applied Version Support and Setup
Transformation Station is available to all agents with an Applied Systems agency management system that meets the following system version requirements:

Real-Time Services - New Business Transactions

Real-Time Quoting
We are currently building the platform to deliver real-time quoting directly to agency management systems and other agency processing and rating systems. We will provide more detail in future communications. We will implement these services to AMS, Applied, other agency management systems, and other agency processing and rating systems beginning in 2008.


SeaPass Real-Time Quoting
For our agents who are SeaPass users, we will be rolling out our SeaPass interface to eZSB beginning in the second quarter of 2008. Stay tuned for additional information on our implementation plans.
